COMFY SPRING NEUTRALS
It’s no surprise I love comfy outfits. This time of year, you can almost always find me in a simple sundress, or jeans and a tee. I live for good comfortable pieces, especially when it comes to shoes. Today I’ve teamed up with my friends at Zappos.com to share these super comfy oxfords from Pikolinos.
The Pikolinos Royal oxfords are stylish, classic, and can be worn with virtually anything. After 34 years of making shoes, Pikolinos has definitely got the comfort factor down. The leather is super soft and doesn’t require any breaking in. I chose the color stone, which is a light metallic pewter. They totally elevate any outfit, and instantly make it more stylish and put together.
Today I wore them with a simple olive green ruffle dress, braids, and a hat for a casual boho esque look. The Royal oxfords would also look great paired with anything from jeans and a tee, to dress pants and button up. The Pikolinos oxfords can definitely be dressed up or down.

CLEAN BEAUTY BUYS UNDER $10
Clean beauty is becoming a huge trend–and rightfully so. Today I wanted to share a few green beauty products that I’ve added to my bathroom recently and have been using daily. The best part is ALL of them are under $10 at Walmart. Keeping my body healthy is my number one priority. I’ve been eating healthier and working out, but I’ve never really though much about the ingredients in products I put on my skin everyday. It’s easy to forget that your skin is your biggest organ and it absorbs everything you put on it.
With that in mind, I wanted to add some clean products into my daily routine. It feels so good knowing that what I’m putting on my skin isn’t harmful or full of chemicals. I love that all of these products are affordable and all available at Walmart.

One of my favorite things to do is take a long bike ride by the beach. The hubs and I like to fully take advantage of the weather this time of year before it gets too hot. Plus, it’s super relaxing. When I saw this “resting beach face” hat at Express I knew I needed it for spring and summer. It’s perfect for keeping the sun off your face. EASY GREEN SMOOTHIE RECIPE
Today I wanted to share an easy green smoothie recipe that I have been loving. Eating healthy has been one of my main priorities this year. I’ve been making this superfood green smoothie recipe a few times a week and absolutely love it. I get this Vega One plant-based all-in-one shake from Walmart and use it in my smoothies. Each scoop of Vega One has 20 grams of plant-based protein, veggies and greens, and at least 50% DV of 12 nutrients and minerals. Plus, it has zero sugar and it’s still delicious!!
For this shake, I also added Maju’s Organic Moringa powder and Bob’s Red Mill Chia Seedsfor added vitamins and to help me stay full longer. I get them both along with my fruits and veggies from Walmart. I like to make this shake in the mornings and it keeps me full till lunch. This green smoothie is loaded with fruits, veggies, protein, vitamins, nutrients, and all things healthy. It’s easy to eat healthy when it tastes delicious!

EASY GREEN SMOOTHIE
INGREDIENTS
1 scoop Vega shake
1 Scoop Morenga powder
1 tbs chia seeds
1 cup fresh spinach
1/2 cup pineapple
1/2 cup mango
1 banana
1 cup water
1 cup ice
INSTRUCTIONS
Add spinach to blender with water and ice.
Blend together until all chunks are gone.
Add pineapple, mango and banana to blender.
Blend all together until smooth and creamy.
(I use the liquify setting on my blender.)
Add
Pour into a glass and serve immediately.
I found this recipe here and changed it just a little to fit my taste.

GLOWY “NO MAKEUP” MAKEUP TUTORIAL
Today I wanted to share a super easy “no makeup” makeup look that I’ve been wearing a lot lately. I’ve really been loving this glowy fresh look and had to share it with you. It’s so perfect for summer! All of the products I’ve been using are under $10 at Walmart. This look only takes about 5 minutes, and is great if you’re in a hurry but want your skin to look glowy and fresh.
I picked up this dewy foundation at Walmart a few weeks ago, and I’m super impressed with it. My skin looks radiant, fresh, and glowy–and the best part, it’s only $6. This time of year I really like to keep my makeup lighter and simpler. I feel like I am always on the go, so I wanted to find an easy way to look put together without having to try to hard. CASUAL CHIC SPRING STYLE
Spring is officially here!
The weather has been so beautiful lately here in Florida. It’s nice and warm during the day but then it’s cooling off at night. I wish it would stay like this forever. Since it’s been chilly at night, I’ve been wearing layered looks when going out at night. This blazer from Dynamite clothing is one of my favorite purchases this spring. I also got it in the floral printand I am obsessed. The fit is sooo good and they are perfect to wear for any occasion. Date night, work, church…you can literally wear them everywhere!
I’ve been living in these Kate light wash Distressed jeans lately. Y’all know I love distressed denim and these ones are too good to pass up. They fit like a glove and are soo flattering. The best part–they’re under $60 at Dynamite clothing!! I also picked up this white lace cami from Dynamite a few weeks ago and loved it so much I ordered it in two other colors. These camisoles are amazing quality and are a spring wardrobe must-have. Did I mention they’re under $30?!

TRAVEL DIARY: UNICO 20º87º RIVIERA MAYA
Palm trees & 80 degrees!!
Welcome to Mexico!!
We recently stayed at UNICO 20º87º in Riviera Maya. It was such an incredible trip, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a getaway. Below I’ve rounded up all of my outfits from the trip; they’re all perfect for spring break or any upcoming vacations. The details are listed under each picture. Be sure to scroll to the end of the post for a full review of the resort.
THE RESORT
UNICO 20 ̊87 ̊ is an adults only 5 star all inclusive resort in Riviera Maya. We arranged car service through the resort, and had them pick us up at the Cancun airport–it’s a 1 hour drive to the resort.
The resort is brand new and is soo beautiful–everything is light, bright, and airy. The resort has everything we could ever want including a dreamy spa, 3 resort pools, yoga classes, four unique restaurants (including Cueva Siete under celebrity chef Christian Bravo), and oceanfront cabanas. They also have a bunch of amazing shops inside the resort!
Our weekend getaway started as soon as we checked in–hubby and I each enjoyed a glass of fresh juice as our luggage was brought to the room.
THE ROOM
We got an Alcoba ocean view king room on the 4th floor with a huge private balcony. Our balcony had an outdoor hydro spa tub that overlooked the ocean–it was dreamyyyy! The bedroom was very spacious and had a modern tropical chic design.
Our view was absolutely incredible–we spent a lot of time out on the balcony. I’m not usually a morning person but made sure to get up and watch the sunrise over the ocean. Thank goodness our room was fully stocked with coffee–I definitely needed it. Waking up to the gorgeous sunrise and fresh ocean air was soo worth it.
THE POOL & BEACH
The resort has three gorgeous pools that are just a few steps from the beach. They said the resort was almost full while we were there, but the pools never felt cramped or too busy, and there were always plenty of chairs available. They also offer an adult tranquility pool for a more relaxing time.
The hubs and I enjoyed walking on the beach–it was super peaceful. We didn’t get into the ocean during this trip, but the turquoise water is so inviting. There was some seaweed along the beach– but I think it only gets like that a few times a year.
ACTIVITIES
During our stay, the resort was hosting their first birthday party–UNICO turns uno!! The resort had a huge pool party. They had tons of FunBoy floats in all of the pools. They also had live music throughout the day, and at night they had a piñata party and a silent disco–it was such a fun day!
The resort also offers tours & water sport activities. We did the Xtreme Mayan Jungle tour, which was such an amazing experience. We visited 4 different cenotes, zip-lined across the open water, and then canoed. After all of our adventures, we had a traditional Mayan lunch and explored the Tankah Maya Community. It was an incredible experience, and I highly recommend doing it! Especially the zip-lining–soo much fun!!
THE SPA
The UNICO 20 ̊87 ̊ spa is truly magical! I booked the UNICO 20°87° MASSAGE which was 50 minutes. I could’ve stayed there all day. The spa has a fully-equipped hydrotherapy facility with bath lounges, saunas, oversized Jacuzzis, and they also have snacks & drinks. They seriously have everything you need to relax and unwind.
THE FOOD
UNICO 20 ̊87 ̊ has 4 restaurants at the resort. Our first night at the resort we started with drinks at the lobby bar, then had a yummy dinner at Cueva Siete: they have incredible Mexican dishes. The chips and guac were delish! We enjoyed a buffet style breakfast almost every morning at Restaurant 20.87. They have the most incredible crepes, fresh fruit, and omelets. Yum!
UNICO 20 ̊87 ̊ also has an app that allows you to order room service any time of day/night, & you can even order poolside service. It’s pretty awesome! During our stay, we also had a teppanyaki style dinner at the Asian restaurant, Mura House. The sushi was delish! But out of all of the restaurants, our favorite was Mi Carisa. They had the BEST Italian food.
OUR STAY
Our trip to UNICO 20 ̊87 ̊ was absolutely incredible. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing tropical getaway. This all inclusive resort has the perfect mix of casual comforts and luxurious amenities that anyone could enjoy.

Today I wanted to share 3 spring essentials to freshen up your wardrobe. These pieces are great to wear dressy or casual & can be worn to work or date night. It’s no surprise that I love all things pink & white, so when I saw this floral blazer at Dynamite clothing I couldn’t pass it up. The fit of this blazer is seriously perfection. Most blazers are very oversized and look frumpy on me. This one fits like a glove and is soo flattering. It’s under $50 and perfect to wear for work or play.
I paired this blazer over a satin lace cami. The color is so perfect for spring and can be worn layered with virtually anything. This cami is only $29 but feels luxury–I loved it so much I got it in white too. The material is thicker which makes it super flattering, and it doesn’t wrinkle easily, which I love.
You guys know I basically live in jeans and am a total sucker for distressed denim. I had been on the hunt for a light wash pair for spring and came across these at Dynamite clothing. These jeans have the best fit–I’ve literally worn them 3 days in a row. They’re that good! The best part–they’re under $55!! They are definitely my new favorite jeans!

PINK & WHITE GINGHAM
Some of you might not know this about me, but before I started blogging full time, I worked in the accounting department of a corporate office for over 7 years. To be honest, I didn’t love it. Our office attire was business casual, which I liked, but I needed a way to express myself in a more creative way. I enjoyed dressing up for work and was almost always overdressed compared to the rest of the office. Most days I wore white jeans, an Express button-up shirt, and heels. Not much has changed, cause this is still one of my favorite looks to wear.

Boho Braid Hair Tutorial
When spring rolls around I find myself doing a lot more braids. Today I wanted to share my new YouTube tutorial on this super easy boho side braid. It literally takes less than 5 minutes!! This hairstyle is great for any occasion and is great for days when the weather isn’t hair friendly. The humidity is already crazy here in florida and it’ll only get worse leading into summer. Braids are a super easy way to keep my hair looking great without much worry. Plus, they usually take less than 5 minutes and always look more put together than a simple pony tail or messy bun.
