Casual Chic

Some of you might not know this about me, but before I started blogging full time, I worked in the accounting department of a corporate office for over 7 years. To be honest, I didn’t love it. Our office attire was business casual, which I liked, but I needed a way to express myself in a more creative way. I enjoyed dressing up for work and was almost always overdressed compared to the rest of the office. Most days I wore white jeans, an Express button-up shirt, and heels. Not much has changed, cause this is still one of my favorite looks to wear.

This pink gingham city shirt was the first thing I noticed when I walked into Express the other day. Pink AND gingham…SOLD!! This button-up is perfect to dress up for work, or pair it with jeans/shorts for a more casual look. I’m a total sucker for pink and white, so I paired it with crisp white skinny jeans for a casual chic springtime look.
