Faux Fur

Cozied up in faux fur and my favorite over the knee boots. I love wearing fur in the winter, but don’t get many opportunities living in Florida. It’s been pretty chilly the last few days–in the mid 60’s– which is nothing compared to the weather up north. Single digits…EEK! Still, I was excited to pull out my favorite fur vest and layer up. When wearing a bold piece such as fur, I like to keep the rest of my outfit rather simple. I paired it with my favorite black boots and added a few gold accessories-and a chai latte of course.

Is there anything better than a classic white button-up?!?

I love the simplicity of a crisp white shirt. My closet is full of classic pieces that can be dressed up or down. I could live in white button-ups and be happy the rest of my life…ok, maybe not. But it IS a major closet staple and one of my go-to pieces. These fringe booties are also a favorite of mine; I’ve been wearing them nonstop! They are so comfy and seriously go with everything.

We will be spending Valentine’s Day at the beach this year–Seriously, sooo excited!! We don’t have set plans for the day, so I wanted to find a dress that I could wear both dressy and casual depending on where go. H & M has the best dresses and for under $30….you can’t beat that!! I love buying versatile pieces that can be dressed up or down, and this little number was the perfect fit!

2016 Pantone colors of the year, and the perfect color combo in my opinion.

With spring right around the corner, I’ve been gravitating toward pastels and pieces that will transition well into warmer weather. I just got this jacket in the mail and it is to die for! The material is soooo soft, and the fit is seriously perfect. (I’m wearing an XS) This jacket will be perfect to wear over a dress or even with a pair of cutoff shorts on cool summer nights. It’s on major sale right now under $60 and worth every penny in my opinion!

This gold flake sweater is one of my favorites. The fit is perfect and I love that it can be worn both dressy and casual. I actually wore this same sweater on Christmas! I loved it so much I had to get it in cream too! Obsessed! My favorite boots e.v.e.r. are on sale 60% off!! OTK boots make your legs look so much longer–and lets be honest, at 5‘1, I need all the height I can get!

These OTK boots have been glued to my feet since day one. I don’t think I’ve ever loved a pair of shoes so much, and that’s saying a lot. I have serious shoe obsession!!! Sweater (with shorts) weather

Only in Florida!!

It’s hard to believe it’s January, but I’m not complaining!! This past weekend it was sooo beautiful out. We had no plans and just hung out with family. I wore my favorite booties with cutoff shorts and a sweater. These are the most versatile little boots. I wear them SO often and plan to wear them in the summer too! I might have to get them in black!
