Y’all this is hands down one of my favorite outfit combos. Leopard, white, & a pop of burgundy. Yes please!! I always gravitate towards leopard in the fall, and this $39 leopard button up blouse is a must-have. It’s such a versatile top and can be worn dressy for work & date night. Or you can totally dress it down with distressed jeans. Dynamite has sooo many cute leopard pieces out right now.
The “no white after labor day” rule is long gone, so you’ll be seeing lots more of these white skinny jeans. I basically live in white jeans all year round, I desperately needed a new pair. These are under $50 at Dynamite and are perfect to wear for work & play.
Right now I’m loving pops of burgundy for fall. I love finding looks for less, and this circle bag from Dynamite is a great designer dupe. It’s ONLY $36!! You can carry it by the handles–like I did here. But it also comes with a detachable cross-body strap making it super versatile. It will be on major repeat this fall!!
Last week I took a fall trip to Stowe, Vermont with some of my blogger besties. It was so much fun to break out our boots, hats, & sweaters, and finally experience some real fall weather. During fall I like to stick to neutrals that I can mix and match all season long. All 4 girls on the trip brought this $45 B.P cowl neck sweater from Nordstrom–clearly it’s a fall favorite! I loveee cowl neck sweaters and will be living in them this fall.
I wore this cozy fall look exploring around Stowe which by the way is the cutest little fall town. I will be doing a full recap of our trip this week so stay tuned.
Black and tan is definitely a classic combo and will be on major repeat the next few months. It actually rained two days of our trip so this Brixton fedora hat definitely came in handy protecting my hair while we walked around town. I got it last year from Nordstrom and it’s prolly my most worn hat!
I’d like to talk a little bit about one of my go-to spots in Tampa. Hyde Park Village is one of my favorite places to spend time. Whether it’s having a latte and reading your favorite e-book, grabbing a bite to eat with friends, browsing the shops, or watching a movie–Hyde Park has it all & everything is within walking distance.
One thing you need when you know you’ll be walking around all day is a comfy pair of shoes. These FitFlop leather snake-print sneakers are so cute and ooohhh so comfortable. I got the urban white python embossed pattern, but they also come in black. They’re super lightweight too, so your feet don’t get tired. The white print is so chic and can definitely be dressed up or down. I wore them with jeans and a tee shirt, but you could easily slip on a black dress and instantly go from day to night.
After checking out the shops all day, I stopped by one of my favorite local coffee spots. Buddy Brew has the cutest black and white marble theme and the best lattes. It’s a great place to relax and read or to catch up on emails. Plus, it’s right around the corner from Sprinkles Cupcakes and I can’t resist their mini cupcakes. They are perfect to grab & go while you’re walking around.
Bartaco is usually our next stop. We meet our friends here all the time–the duck tacos are my absolute favorite. You have to try them!! After a couple drinks we’re ready to head to our next stop. CinéBistro at Hyde Park Village is just around the corner and is perfect for a late night movie. They also serve food & drinks there too which is great for date night.
Hyde Park Village is the perfect area to stroll on the weekends, after work, or even just a quick coffee break.
I think we all gravitate towards rich warm tones as we get closer to fall. As soon as September hit’s I start reaching for bold colors, and this year I’m loving berry hues. Today I wanted to share a super affordable look that you can wear now to get you in the fall spirit. This Time & Tru shirt from Walmart is a major steal and I couldn’t pass it up.
Plaid shirts can be worn so many ways and can make any outfit look fall ready. Here I tucked it in and styled it with cuffed jeans for a comfy casual look. You can tie up the front and pair it with cut-off shorts and booties for an ultra cute combo. Or pair it with leggings, riding boots, and a fedora for a fall ready look.
Another fall must-have are these Portland Boot Company peep toe booties. I found them on sale 50% off through Walmart.com. Y’all, they’re ONLY $29! The light tan color is so versatile and can be worn with anything. You’ll definitely want to get your hands on these!
Be sure to check out Walmart’s It List to see 10 fall trends to get you ready for fall.
So while this warmer weather hangs around a little bit longer, I’ve got some great transition looks that will get you through. If you’ve seen my his and hers posts, you’ll know how much the hubs lovessss his boots. The brown color of these Steve Madden cap toe boots is perfect for both dark and light jeans. The best part is they’re under $100. Mark decided to pair them with his favorite Topman “Polly” distressed jeans and an olive green henley–he couldn’t have made a better choice. I love this look on him! On a cool day he’ll throw on a brown suede jacket and he’s ready to roll.
Seriously, is there anything better than comfy underwear?
I mean, what woman doesn’t love that new bra feel? You know what I’m talking about. That nice elastic that hugs your body just right. This Jockey Signature™ Modern Mix Bralette and hipster undie combo fits great & is perfect for lounging around in on the weekends.
When it comes to the guys we have the age old question– Boxers or Briefs??? Well, I’ll give you a little hint. My husband prefers neither 😉 He wears boxer briefs, and these Jockey Signature™ Pima Cotton Mid-Rise Boxer Briefs fit just right and don’t bunch up on him. He likes to wear more slim fit jeans, and the Jockey boxer briefs are great because the material doesn’t ride up like many traditional boxers. They come in a 3-pack 🙂
Fall is just around the corner! If you’re anything like me, you’re already sipping your pumpkin spice lattes impatiently waiting for cool crisp air to come rolling in. Fall is hands down my favorite season. Today I wanted to share a few staples that you can wear and layer up as the seasons change.
With cooler weather around the corner, I alway reach for dark denim. Democracy jeans are definitely a must-have. The “Ab”solution jeans have the best fit and are even designed to give you a better booty–um, yes please!! The detailing on the back gives you a booty lift and the jeans super slimming. They’re also super stretchy and have a no-gap waist band, which is a total game changer. I can’t say enough good things about them! Try a pair out for yourself–you can thank me later 😉
These Democracy jeans can easily be dressed up or down. I paired them with a classic v-neck top that is perfect for layering. When paired with these Burberry rain boots & wool fedora the look instantly becomes fall ready. And the look wouldn’t be complete without a pumpkin spice latte.
Wide leg pants are back and it seriously makes me SO happy!
I saw these red high waisted wide leg pants at Express and immediately added them to my cart. I had been on the hunt for wide leg dress pants for weeks, but every pair I found were wayyyy too expensive. These pants are on sale 30% off at Express right now. They’re only $55 and seriously look designer!!
You can also use my coupon code5035 to save $25 off $100!
These ultra chic pants would be perfect to take from the office to dinner. The high waist & flare leg combo is soo flattering. I honestly felt like a million bucks in this outfit! These pants elongate your body and really enhance your legs. I’m only 5’1″ but it makes my legs look a mile long–I’m obsessed! I’m wearing 4″ heels with these and the pants just barely touch the ground.
I paired them with a lace-up bodysuit (on sale $26) for a date night look. But you could pair them with a ruffle cami & white blazer for a chic office outfit. You guys know I’m leopard obsessed, so couldn’t pass up this leopard bucket bag–it’s on sale for only $35 right now. The material is soft & is really great quality–it’s even better than I was expecting. This bag is the perfect size & has an adjustable chain so you can carry it multiple ways.

Today I wanted to share 4 closet staples every guy needs. I know a lot of guys struggle putting together outfits and I totally get it. Girls, if you’re trying to dress your man, this is a great place to start. Any guy that puts on this combo will feel like a million bucks. Men’s fashion can seem a little intimidating, but I promise it’s not that complicated. Start with a few classic pieces, and you’ll be well on your way.
This slim fit shirt is only $39 at Nordstrom and it’s definitely a closet staple. You can easily dress up any outfit with this shirt–the hubs always likes to roll up the sleeves. He wears this with jeans, shorts, and dress pants. It’s very versatile.
Topman has really great denim–we got these from Nordstrom and they are the hubby’s favorites. These dark skinny jeans are ideal for dressing up or down & are perfect to wear all year round. They can be worn casually with sneakers & a tee, or you can dress them up with a classic shirt, tie, & dress shoes.
Again, this belt is another piece that can easily elevate the look of any outfit. When you pair this with jeans, shorts, or dress pants, the outfit instantly looks more put together. Personally, I prefer this tan color over dark brown or black–it pops more and also looks more stylish.
I don’t know what it is, but guys in boots are just hotter in my opinion. ha! Even though we live in FL, the hubs wears his boots all year round. They can be worn a little dressy like he did here, or you could totally dress them down with distressed jeans & a plain white tee. These Frye boots are on sale at Nordstrom right now.
You guys know I’m a total beauty junkie which means I’m always changing up my “everyday makeup” routine. Today I wanted to share what I’m using and loving right now. We’ll call this my “summer makeup routine”. Nordstrom is always my go-to when shopping for new beauty products and restocking my favorites that I can’t live without.
Did you know you can get samples of almost anything at Nordstrom? Every time I go in store I stop by and grab a few samples to try out new products. Trust me, you’ll get addicted too! This is how I discovered some of my ride-or-die beauty products. This is also super helpful when trying out new foundations. I highly recommend going to Nordstrom and getting some samples so you can try it out before you commit to the full bottle.
Below I’ve listed out everything I’m currently using along with the colors and how I use them. If you have any questions at all don’t hesitate to ask 🙂
FACE OIL-Urban Decay Drop Shot Mix-In Facial Oil
I think this has made a huge difference in the way my foundation looks on my skin. I apply 1-2 drops into my foundation. It’s super lightweight and leaves my skin looking soft, glowy, & fresh even when wearing full coverage foundation.
FOUNDATION-Diorskin Forever Undercover 24 Hour Foundation “# 25” & Estée Lauder Double wear
I’ve used these two foundations for the last year and just recently started mixing them together. Seriously, life changing! Ha! I love both and on their own they are great, but I loveee the finish it gives mixing them together. I apply a small amount of each on the back of my hand and mix them together. I apply it with a flat top kubuki brush.
CONCEALER-Tarte Shape Tape Concealer “Light-Medium”
Hands-down the best concealer I’ve ever used. It’s full coverage, doesn’t crease and instantly brightens my face. I apply this under my eyes and on any areas I want to highlight.
I’m all about that “glow”! I use this on the highpoints of my face. Cheek bones, tip of my nose, under my eyebrows, and on my cupids bow.
SETTING SPRAY-Urban Decay All Nighter
This setting spray makes my makeup last all day and makes everything melt into my skin making it look more natural and glowy. I spray it on after I finish all of my makeup.

EYE SHADOW-Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette
I keep my eye shadow pretty simple. I apply “Sauced” all over my lid, then go in with “Cayenne” in the crease. I also smudge a little “Cayenne” under my lower lashers.
MASCARA-Urban Decay Troublemaker Mascara
I’ve used this for a the last 2 months and love the formula. This makes my natural lashes look full & long. I curl my lashes then apply a light coat. After it dries, I curl them again and add more just on the tips—this makes them look much longer.
*I stopped getting lash extensions and now just wear these strip lashes when I wear more makeup.
BROWS-Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer
This is deficiently my favorite brown pencil–it’s super easy to use. I have thin brows so I over draw them a little while still trying to keep the natural shape of mine. I will try to do a YouTube video on this soon since I’ve had so many requests.
LIPS-NARS Orgasm Afterglow Lip Balm
I wear this pretty much every day. It’s super hydrating and has a subtle hint of pink and the perfect amount of shine.
Lately I’ve been loving big loose curls. Today I wanted to share an easy and affordable way to get this look. I’ve recently picked up the Hot Tools 24K curling iron from ULTA. It’s comparable in quality to more expensive wands, but doesn’t break the bank. It’s actually on sale for ONLY $39 right now at ULTA! I also found the cutest pack of velvet scrunchies while browsing the store. I’ve already worn them in my mini bun and I’m obsessed!
The curling iron comes in 4 different sizes–I use the 1.5’’ barrel to get these curls. It has adjustable heat settings up to 430 degrees, which is great for getting your curls to last for days. I set mine around 375 degrees, and it heats quickly and curls just as fast.
The trick to achieving this look is to grab small sections of hair and always curl it away from your face. Using smaller sections of hair will help keep the curls from wrapping around themselves, and will give you a more voluminous finished look. Curling your hair away from your face also helps give it a more natural look, but more importantly keeps the curls from falling in front of your face.
I finished off the look using the Redken Fashion Work 12 Hairspray. It is anti-frizz, very lightweight and helps keep my curls intact all day long. You can find it at ULTA.
Ps. I’m kinda tempted to add a little pink into my hair. I saw this online and really want to try it. Maybe just a few highlights…What do you think?
You guys know I loveee Adidas–it’s definitely my favorite sporty brand to wear. Today I wanted to share a cute and casual outfit wearing Adidas Originals. This black & white combo is so classic and can be mixed and matched to create lots of outfits. I’ve wanted these Adidas superstar sneaks forever–I found them at Nordstrom and just couldn’t pass them up.
Want to save a few $$ on these sneaks? Try getting them in kids. I always shop for kids sneakers and Nordstorm has a great selection. A lot of people don’t know that kids sizing goes up to about an 8 in women’s. To find your size in kids just subtract 2 from your current size. For example: 6.5 in women’s equals a 4.5 in kids.
I’ve had my eye on this Adidas trefoil tank for a few weeks but it kept selling out. Thankfully Nordstrom restocked them and I ordered it ASAP. It’s such a great tank. I have it rolled up for a more cropped look but it’s the perfect length to be worn with leggings too. I highly recommend it!
