There’s something about fall that makes me want to wear black All. The. Time. I’m normally a light/neutral person but in the fall months I always gravitate towards darker colors. Last week I stopped into Nordstrom to grab a few things for a quick trip to the mountains. I found so many amazing sweaters and pieces for fall–now the weather just needs to cool down in Florida so I can wear them.

When I saw the ruffled sleeves on this Halogen sweater, I knew I had to have it. I got it in the blush color too–I’m obsessed! I also grabbed these Treasure & Bond black skinny jeans. They fit sooo good and are the perfect “cropped” length. I will be living in them the next few months.

Last weekend the hubs and I took a little trip to the mountains. We have family that lives in Tennessee, so we visited with them and then headed to the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC. The estate is unreal–it’s pretty much a castle. The property is over 8,000 acres and is loaded with things to do. We toured the house, walked through the gardens, did a wine tasting, and walked all around the grounds–the views are incredible.

I wore these Isola booties during our entire trip and can’t say enough good things about them. They are super comfy and the color goes with everything. I highly recommend them!
