Wardrobe Staples-NSALE Edition

(Click on the items below to shop the look)

Today the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale opened up for everyone to shop. I shopped the sale during Early Access and knew immediately I want to stock up on great basics that could be worn for every season, and seasons to come. There are SO many things on sale right now, it’s easy to get overwhelmed and lose focus of what you need. Things are already selling out so make a list and get ready to shop!

For me, the top items on my list were new jeans, a good white tee, a scarf, (faux) leather jacket, and over the knee boots. Those items were my priority, anything outside of that was a bonus.
Building your wardrobe around good basics makes transitioning between seasons so easy. The jeans and tee can be worn year round, and can easily be dressed up or down. The boots and scarf can be worn all through the fall and winter months. And the jacket can be worn year round as it isn’t too heavy. All of these items can be mixed and matched to create so many fall and winter looks.
SIZING:
AG Jeans-true to size. I took my usual size 24.
Caslon Tee-oversized fit and runs big. Wearing size XXS.
BLANKNYC Jacket-Runs a little small. Sized up to a Small to have room for layering.
Vince Camuto Boots-True to size. Took my usual size 7.
(Please ignore my frizzy hair–these daily thunderstorms are an instant hair killer)
