I can’t be the only one who needs a place to get away sometimes to feel productive. When I really need to focus on a task, I like to sneak away to the office. With all the renovations going on and the constant chaos, it’s great to be able to push aside the “secret” bookcase door and block out the noise for a bit. Welcome to my little office oasis!

I’ve really been drawn to gold lately along with my usual whites and neutrals. I picked up these gold bookcases and they are simply stunning. They have a high-end luxury look but at a great price! Every good office space needs a good desk. We added a white desk, pink and gold stool, and accenting desk organizers to play off that same theme. We also added a few pops of pink in the space–because who doesn’t love a pink chaise lounge? Sticking with neutrals, we added this textured rug that just ties the whole space together.

FIREPLACE FALL DECOR

Can you guys believe fall is almost halfway over? …and I’m just now getting the outside decorated. Like, who am I?

I’m a girl who just found some amazing fall goodies to spice up my indoor and outdoor decor. What are some of the necessities when decorating for fall? I’d say hay bales, pumpkins and cute signs. The Home Depot has all of them and more. These square hay bales look so dang perfect especially paired with these adorable, stackable pumpkins. The pumpkins even come in different colors and are weighted to keep from blowing away. A few of the signs that fall is here include pumpkin spice lattes, changing leaves and cooler weather. I snagged this literal sign for our personal fireplace pumpkin patch–it’s so dang cute!

FALLING FOR THESE FLARES

Okay, can we just talk for a second about how cute Christian’s porch is?!?! Getting all the pumpkiny fall feels! The weather hasn’t quite cooled off here yet, but I won’t let that stop me. I found the cutest sweater tank and paired it with THE BEST (and biggest) flares I’ve ever seen! Underneath those beauties are the perfect pair of Vince Camuto booties. Welcome to our cozy home. While the thermometer might not show it here in Florida, we’re already decked out for the cooler fall weather. From cozy knit blankets to these super cute ceramic pumpkins, Target has everything you need to pumpkin spice up your fall decor. As you can see Zeppy has found a new spot to watch over his farmhouse. I swear he claims all things comfy as his own.

As soon as I saw this amazing Louis Vuitton book I immediately clicked add to cart. It makes a great statement on any bookshelf, console table or coffee table. Speaking of console tables, I found this distressed white one on sale, and it’s perfect for our farmhouse vibes. One of my all time favorite candle scents is “mahogany teakwood” but it can be a little pricey. I found a perfect dupe in this clear glass three wick candle from Target for only $10. COZY SLIPPERS

You guys know I LIVE in slippers. I wear them 24/7 around the house. I wanted a pair that are durable enough to wear outside. I found this pair from Koolaburra that are super comfy and they have thick soles–exactly what I was looking for. They come in 4 colors. I got the “amphora” color which I love. They don’t show any wear. I’ve been wearing them every single day and LOVE them! I got my normal size 7. Plus they have free shipping!!

I can’t believe it’s already August!

Fall is just around the corner, and I can’t wait for some cooler crisp air. I picked up some good closet staples that we can wear now and in the fall. I found the softest v-neck top. I actually ended up getting it in both colors. It’s a super soft lightweight material–great for wearing around the house. I’ve also been living in the Topshop black skinny jeans. They’re super flattering and perfect to wear now and transition into fall. I also styled it with booties and a hat which is so cute to wear heading into the cooler months.

SKINCARE: DOUBLE CLEANSING

I recently started double cleansing at night and love the way my skin feels afterwards. I’ve been using a cleansing balm first to remove my makeup. This one is super moisturizing and easily takes off all of my makeup-even mascara!! After that I use the resurfacing facial wash. Marky and I actually share this face wash.
