The countdown to Christmas has begun–only 30 days to go. So now we are officially allowed to blast the Christmas music and watch Hallmark movies all day long! Just don’t tell anyone we’ve been doing this for the last month! ha! What can I say, I just couldn’t wait.

Part of getting in the season for us is adding more pops of red in our looks. The hubs got the perfect holiday plaid shirt from Nordstrom and I love the slim fit look on him. This shirt is perfect to dress up or down & I just saw that it’s on sale 40% off right now. It would look great with a sweater or cardigan over it. He decided to wear it with his favorite Topman ripped denim jeans and leather boots.

I wore my Madewell chunky cable knit sweater over a plaid shirt and pulled the collar through to add a little splash of red. Pair that with my my fav red beanie and I’m decked out like the halls are with boughs of holly. Haha! And of course I have on my all time fav booties!

These looks would be great for an evening out looking at Christmas lights or a casual dinner and a movie date night.
