New York Fashion Week begins in just a few shorts days. As I think about my outfits and start to pack, I am constantly pulling inspiration from everything around me. I’ve been very drawn to metallics and mixed metals lately. We recently added  Capri Blue Guilded Muse candles into our home decor and they’ve given me so much inspo leading up to Fashion Week.

This is my first time attending New York Fashion Week and I’m beyond excited. My husband and I LOVE New York City and can’t wait to experience NYFW for the first time.

When putting together my outfits for NYFW I’m thinking city vibes: bright lights, fast paced street style, & bold colors. I want my outfits to stand out but still be “me”.  Capri Blue’s motto is Where Fashion Meets Fragrance.  The Guilded Muse collection is sophisticated, modern chic, and a little bit edgy. The collection really inspired me to add metallics and mixed metals into my NYFW outfits.

For me, fashion is more than what you wear, it’s about how you feel. My outfits are almost always reflective of my mood, they can be inspired by a scent, the location, and of course the season. There are so many factors that go into creating the perfect look and it’s amazing what can inspire you to try something new.
