Beach

Weekend Style: Beachy Blues

When the weekend rolls around you can find me relaxing at the beach. I grew up going to the beach and fishing every weekend with my family–I have 5 brothers and sisters and it was always so much fun. For me, the beach is filled with happy memories and always puts me in the best mood. It’s my happy place and it’s where I go to reset from a busy week. The beach is a reflection of who I am and it defines my weekend dress code.

When I saw these  distressed high-waisted shorts at  Express I knew I HAD to have them. I’ve worn them 3 days in a row this week–oops! They are the best fitting shorts and very flattering. High-waisted shorts always make your legs look longer–yep, say no more, I will be living in these all spring and summer. But really, anything that makes my legs look longer-sign me up! ha! The rips on these are so fun and just my style. I paired them with the perfect  plaid boyfriend shirt, a  white cropped tank, and  aviators. This is definitely my weekend uniform!
Sale alert:
Everything I’m wearing is on sale right now!  Express is having the best sale and you can save 40% off through 4/17. It’s the perfect time to stock up on your spring break essentials.
And don’t forget your watermelon!!!
